Yes. But they keep bothering me. I told them, "Blame VW for the price, only losing your *** on the car will put it in my driveway."

I can't spend that much for something that depreciates so hard when I want something much nicer than that down the road. Also, I think a car like that should be 2 door no matter how utilitarian the 4 door is.

The CSi on the other hand...I dig the sedan look and the passenger capacity would be excellent. Trying to find some time to get to the dealer and drive one. Almost bought an 07 coupe with 78k on it for 12,400 a few weeks back on impulse lol

And you're right, I would likely have it for ages and it would make a badass 3rd car.

I don't think the dealer needed a "warning" afterall.

When you look at the sales of the 2012 Civic now, Honda probably now regret updating the Civic so soon.

CR is full of it just because they have a hard-on for Hyundais. Numbers don't lie (do they?)

Civic. What problem?

Sure inventives help move metal, but the incentives were pretty much always there. No one (should) pay MSRP for any Honda. $2-3K off is automatic.

Air vents without any trim around it, in this day and age, is, I don't know, there are no words to explain how I feel.

You can see some sculpting of the plastic on the left vent and that's it. It's basically a hole, no trim around it. The mechanism for adjusting the vent is mounted behind it.

That is not how it is done. That is not what inspires people.

That was just a sample, based on the improvements you can see from the small, updated pic. (hvac/radio and vents is all I got to work with)

Give me the entire pic and I'll write volumes.

Main pet peeves are panel gaps. Especially cars north of $40K.

The gap between the rear metal quarter panel to the plastic rear bumper really seems to be an issue for manufacturers.

Haha I'm aware of this peeve of yours.

Mine is creaks/rattles. I want to put the new speakers I got for my truck in, but know it's a waste of time because it's just going to rattle more. WAH

yea. would have to do a Ace Ventura move to see out the left side, and a im going to reach into the glove box head move to see the right side.

going on a test drive, driving down one of the roads they tell you to take, going on a left hand turn, out of no where the on coming car passed without me even seeing it. scared the **** out of me. front view is okay, but i never took notice to how big the a pillar was till this happened.

if you look at the pic below, it don't look big, but it takes up a huge part of the view when looking out that way. it doesn't help that the rake of the windshield is steep too. making the a pillar almost staring at your face. if i had not been completely paid attention to driving, and by chance went over the yellow line while in the turn, i could have hit the car cause i would have never known it was there.

Can't stand the a-pillars in my '11 si, quite shitty for tearing up a twisty back road or certain auto-x courses I just need to get rid of it before the clear coat starts to fail?

Hey Ross, does your starter ever not engage time to time? Happens to me and my boss on our si's

My starter is fine, but my wheels are completely trashed from hitting stuff b/c of those terrible blind spots. I just put two and two together yesterday lol. Driving that car quickly is an exercise in faith

I love the rear shot...how could anyone think that does not look better than the 2006-11 car?

If I was to run an auto company, I'd never hire you. The devil is in the details.

I bet you use Plastigauge.

I learned what Plastigauge was by reading Dsport.

Cubbies are a useful thing. Air vent design is cosmetic and you know how I feel about cosmetics

I'm waiting for his paper to be released on e-brake handle location

Gonna try to shake loose some time to drive a 2012 Si. As practical as the sedan would be and help me with some trips I want to start taking, I sort of want to wait for the next BRZ model to drop. But then again, it's going to be like 12-15k more than the Si lol

If I go for the 2012, I'm going to try and snag it for 21.5 out the door. Think that's possible? A lot are already marked down to under that sticker wise. Not sure how much room they've got below that. Lots of dealerships around to compete for my business which is nice.

Believe it or not the dealership down the street from me sold an LX out the door for a little under 15k. So it's very possible to low ball them for a 2012 model. They also sold a 2012 Si 4 door for 18.
