Re: Found a Money Order -- Can I cash it? (Endz0r)
Money orders still go through clearing houses. They can find out who cashed it, but it's harder to find out who bought it.
"How much tax dollars to bomb the whole planet?
While we spend so much on weapons and take schools for granted
While we watch with apathy as this war runs rampant
How is it we're more shocked with what Justin did to Janet?"
I dont get you guys bitches are talking about. there is NO name on the NO and the recipt is still on it. Now wtf is the guy who purchased it going to do? go to 7-11 and tell the dude he lost a $25 MO, i want my money back but cant prove i ever bought one? LOL cash it, cuase if you dont then its just money gone to waste.
What's all this talk about karma? Unless you give it back to whoever lost it, they are still out the money whether you cash it or not. Not cashing it doesn't get the person who lost it their money back, right? I'd say, inquire about finding the owner and if you can't, just cash it. No need to feel guilty. I don't know if those things can be traced.
Go to a store and buy something and fill it out to them and it can never be traced to you. Pay a bill with it, or take it to the store and tell them u wanna bring it back you got the wrong amount and they will cash it for you not even asking you for ID.

If it's from someone in your household, i'd give it back. Or if it belongs to a friend that just recently visited your residence, i'd give it back. Otherwise, it's free money. The person who dropped it should've been more responsible. If the actual owner comes back, i'd most likely give them the money order or the 25 bux. All up to you though.
