Default Do you take your shoes off at work?

So anyway I'm sitting here at my cube, and i hear some kind of a hizzing sound behind me, so I'm like wtf is that?.... i check on the cube behind me and it turns out it's my coworker rubbing his naked feet on the divider behind me (i knew i smelled cornchips around here)

Just wondering how many of you take off your shoes at work at your desk/cube. I feel a bit weird about doing it. What if my boss sees me with no shoes.. wouldn't that be a little strange? like wtf? this isn't your house?..lol iono.. then again it does seem like a good idea.. seems comfortable. What do you guys think?

If I had a desk job, I'd get some slip on shoes and take them off under the desk. I wouldn't rub my feet and moan loud enough to attract attention.

I dont, but I put my feet on my desk all the time. I have a huge drafting table as a desk and there is no room to stretch out in my office. So I do that.

I do it all the time, I'm doing it right now. I also have slippers just in case I need to walk around inside of the office, but if I go out into the hallway down to the cafeteria i wear my shoes.

Sometimes I get my coffe with my shoes off in the office.

I work for a Aviation Company. . . Customers around all the time. Thats where the slippers come in handy.

It's ok in my professional environment, and most people do it.

Nearly everyone holds a PhD and know what needs to get done, so nobody sweats the petty **** like that which can lead to a shitty work environment.
