Default Any oneknow how to rid themselves of a tree without cutting?

I have a huge maple tree in my yard, and I want it dead at least. It hovers over my driveway and drops sap, leaves, seedlings, and small branches, not to mention birds poop on my cars. Youve got to see the leaves I get rid of each year! I really cant cut it down for 2 reasons. Its a huge tree approx 100 yrs old! its about 50 feet tall too! second..it boarders a cemetery wich my house is next also so i think its theirs. I think it would also cost a lot to cut it down anyway. Im thinking if I can just get it to stop germinating leaves, and sap and seedlings, i wont have anything to fall on my car. If its dying they have to take it down! Any ideas on how to poison or kill a tree undetected? And for you tree and nature lovers...i do not hate trees and nature, I just want this one gone!! I fully intend to plant another tree in my back yard away from the driveway.

Well I would say pine bores, but they go after soft woods (ie namely pines)

Just stroll down the caustic section in Lowe's and see what you can find haha

If its dangerous or in a position to interfere with power lines, sometimes the city will cut it down for you.

Ask the tree to leave...nicely?

But really...check your city regulations. If the tree is on your property, pay a guy to cut it down for you.

If it's not on your property and overhanging your yard, you might be able to get its branches cut so it wont bother you.

The tree is in the middle on a row of hedges. On the left is a cemetery, and on the right is my house. There are definately hugh branches that are above my roof and others that hang on my side of the property. Could i get the city to cut them down? The tree is owned by the cemetery, but i asked the caretaker about some of the limbs being cut and he said there was no money in the budget.
