Default 92% of Top 10 Billboard Songs of 2009 were About Sex

That's right--"reproductive messages," our newest favorite euphemism. Those 174 top-selling songs were analyzed in order to determine how many sexy messages they contained in any of 18 sexy categories, including "arousal," "sexual prowess," and "genitalia." There was an average of 10.49 sex-related phrases per song, with R&B being head-and-shoulders(-and-maybe-some-other-body-parts) above the two other musical genres analyzed, country and pop. "Sexual appeal" was the most popular theme among both R&B and pop songs, while "commitment" (yawn) was most prevalent in country music.
Percentage too high, or not high enough?

I don't know why, but I instantly thought of this.

Is there a list of that 174 songs? Im thinking their definition of 'sex' is so broad that its bound to include every song on the billboard.

Yes, all heterosexual people quit thinking, talking, and SINGING about sex, it only leads to people wanting it and then doing it. Then babies are made and the human-race continues.

But considering the type of **** that gets the most radio play, it's probably pretty easy to classify most of the songs content as sexual as most songs really aren't that creative.

Yes but Im having a very hard time believing 92% of the songs are ABOUT sex. Yea sure, you get a ***** and vajajay mentioned here and there in the song, but is the entire song about sex as the title suggest?

Contrary to the title of the article, the "study" itself is more on the levels and frequency of explicit or subtle sexual connotation in 92% percent of the top song of 2009, not so much that the song itself is about having sex.
