FS: Mugen GP 18x7.5 | +48 | 5x114.3 | 16.5 lbs.
Up for sale is a set of 4 authentic gun metallic 18" forged Mugen GP wheels. I’m selling my beloved Mugens because I decided to go a different route with my TSX. These wheels are lightweight yet very durable.
Price:
$1,900 shipped
$1,700 picked up
I’d prefer local pickup rather shipping these, but won’t turn down a good offer. I'm also willing to separate the tires from the wheels at a lower price. Please PM me if interested.
Location:
Chantilly, VA, possibly Wilmington, DE/Philly area depending on the time of the month.
Wheel specs:
Model: Mugen GP
Size: 18x7.5 +48
PCD: 114.3
Weight: 16.5 lbs. (7.48 kgs)
Color: Gun metallic
Material: Forged aluminum
Valve stems: Official Mugen GP metal valve stems
Lug nuts: Gorilla Automotive “The System” black lug nuts
Condition is good with some curb rash on all of the wheels, due to living in the DC/NOVA area and having to park on the street often. One wheel has been professionally refinished due to a low-speed mishap cough*wife*cough. I’ve had these wheels for five years so each one shows signs of minor use and, besides the refinished one, all have the original Mugen finish.
Tire specs:
Model: Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3
Size: 215/45R18
Weight: ~24 lbs. (10.88 kgs)
Mileage: ~9880 mi (15900 km)
Average tread depth: 8/32” (6 mm)
I’ve had these tires for almost exactly a year now and they have roughly 9,880 miles on them. Their size is a near exact match for the outer diameter of the stock 04-08 TSX. I can’t say how they perform in the winter as I have a separate winter setup, but in Spring through Fall, their performance was amazing. That little “lip” around the rim of the wheel is Michelin’s wheel protector, which does help. These tires have had just one flat fix for a small nail and has held air excellently since the patch.

Bump! These will be good for the spring/summer season. Total weight with wheels and tires are ~37 lbs. each. Compared to 46 lbs. for stock 17s, and 45.2 lbs. for 17" A-Spec wheels. It may not sound like much, but it's noticeable when you're handling them and even driving, they do make the car feel lighter overall, it's hard to explain.

In comparison, from ICBmotorsports, a brand new set runs $2,569.72 shipped, while KingMotorSports is selling a brand new set for $3,213.20 shipped. I think my prices are fair.
