Default what tires should i get?

Im looking for 195/50/15 tires for my civic and I want good traction, handling, noise reduction, and good traction on wet roads too.

any good tires? Bridgestone Potenza and the new Nitto Motivo tires dont come in this size so im looking for other choices.

If you can do a summer only compound, Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 or Bridgestone Potenza RE11 if price is no object, or the Yokohama S.drive or the soon to be released BF Goodrich GForce Sport C2 to save a little $$$.

If you need an all season tire, we don't have much at all other than a Kumho ECSTA AST.

That sums things up rather nicely. I agree with this.

Consumer Reports has a good rating on the Sumitomo HTR A/S P01. It ranked one of the highest in its class.

I haven't been very fond of Consumer Reports in recent history. They rated the Chevrolet HHR amongst the best in its class. I only know this, because I had one for a corporate car. It ranks up in my top 3 worst cars I've ever had the displeasure to drive. I won't go in to details, but their rating system was far from accurate in regards to the HHR and I have been second guessing their reviews ever since.

Yes they do. Where are you looking?

First tire listed (look just to the right of the large tire image, where it states the tire size)...

i google the tires and some only come in 16-17-18 inch rims
and most of the ones that come in 15 are 190/55 not 190/50 which are the ones im looking for

Well, first of all, its 195/50/15, not 190/55/15 or 190/50/15 (190 is not a standard tread width).

Secondly, every single tire listed above is available in 195/50/15 (which is the tire size you're requesting). So, you're either searching the wrong tire size, or aren't looking very hard.

If you're looking for All-Season tires in 195/50/15, your options are as such:
Falken Ziex ZE-912
Kumho Ecsta AST
Hankook Ventus V2 H437
Toyo Extensa HP
Toyo Proxes 4
Nitto NT450
Michelin Pilot Exalto A-S

(There are a few more tire models out there, but they're bar far less known manufacturers and don't have stellar ratings, as far as tires go.)

I know someone who has the Ziex ze-512s and they really suck. Kind of loud, no grip at all on snow. My cousin had the Pilot Exalto's and they are really expensive but well worth the money.

512's got phased out a while ago, and for good reason. They're not a great tire, by any means. The 912's are a much better design.

Nitto NeoGens are on my list...sadly 205 width, but well worth it in my opinion. I have Falken ZE-912s and theyre ok, maybe I'll go with a wider wheel as well. GS-R 15s are old and not the best look for my carro.

I had these, they are a little noisy, also the car tends to catch grooves easily with these.

Some really good affordable high performance all seasons are General G-Max A/S 03. I just got these on my Civic and I love them. Check them out on tire-rack. Excellant reviews. You should also stick with the stock size of 195/55/15.

Why? (Why should I limit myself to stock sizing when I can get a shorter sidewall height and a larger contact patch?)
