Default OE Honda 7-spoke 4x100 13" white wheels, ID?

Any help on what these might be?

They're 4x100, white, 7-spoke, 13 inch, say HONDA between two of the spokes. The H on the large center cap is black. Not sure if the finish is OE.

These were on an '88 CRX HF when purchased used.

Any help?

I checked the parts catalog just in case and none of the wheels shown look at all like these. Not even close. I did a few searches as well and still nothing. I don't know much about 4G Civic parts. I've had the car for all of a day.

There's plenty I don't know. I try to search if I need a question answered though and lots of my questions have been answered already.

I wouldn't be surprised if this question has been answered before as well, but it's difficult to search for a photo. So I tried to include key words to describe the wheels too in case someone knows and is able to help me, then maybe later down the road if someone searches they'll find this. Maybe.

At first, they reminded me of 89-91 Civic sedan 7-spoke wheels. But, those are 14's, and you're looking at 13's. The spokes are also slightly curved for the 89-91 Civic.

Sorry I can't help much further. I guess its just one of those oddity, rare Honda wheels that didn't see much production.

Hmm... still curious to know. Thanks for the help, toyomatt.

Eran thinks the finish might be OE and I think it could be too. It's a very even finish, granted they're still pretty dirty even after a wash. The pics above are after a wash, but I think they need to be worked on a bit more to bring the white color out.

Here's what they look like on the car, from a slightly different angle.

The finish definitely looks original to me. I would love to have hardcopies of the brochures to that model CR-X / Civic. That'd help solve whether or not they come from that era. Who bought the car? You or Eran? Or was it just something you two saw?

This is my new daily driver. Got lucky and found a clean 160k mile one at a lot.

Needs a tiny bit of work (tune up, axles), but so far it's looking like it's turning out to be better than I expected. A quick polish is showing the paint is much shinier than I expected. Just light oxidation on top. Easy work.

This is the only brochure I've accidentally stumbled upon so far. I might have neater things saved and I'm sure Deetz has more info.

Oh, and the wheels are polishing up to be a nice creamy white color. Far more buttery and yellow than the Polar White car.

Wait a second. I thought the BA4 was the new DD?

Glad to hear that this Civic is turning out to be a gem in the rough.

The BA4 was a gift from my friend. It needs a little TLC, primarily in the driver quarter panel and I don't have another car I can daily while it's in the shop. I picked this CRX up for cheap and the plan was to end up selling it when I'm done, but it's ending up so nice that I'm not so sure now...

Those are optional rims available through Honda for the 88 CRX HF. I had some on another 88 CRX HF in the junkyard when I worked there. They are very light rims and make for excellent Ice Race wheels!
I changed the color on mine though:

I don't normally run with the center cap on.

I thought they felt pretty light too, but a friend of mine was telling me how he thought they were bulky.

Yours is the second CRX HF that I've ever seen them one. Looks like they only came in white and on white 88 CRX HF's, lol. the OEM coating is pretty tough! took me two tries with aircraft stripper , the jelly brush on kind, to get most of it off. even then, there was some still left on the inside of the rims.

You're going to need a sizable garage to store your Honda "finds", at the rate you're going.

Thanks for the info though!

My local dealership couldn't find these wheels listed in their catalog they keep set aside with old wheels in it. It might have only gone back to '89 or '90 though. I can't remember.

Any catalog info or such is still greatly appreciated as well.
