I can't make a tire size decision for my EG...195/50 or 195/45 for 15x8?

Default I can't make a tire size decision for my EG...195/50 or 195/45 for 15x8?

I've been reading up EVERYWHERE trying to figure out whether to run a 195/50/15 or 195/45/15 on a 15x8 +25 wheel. Going on a 94 Civic Hatchback, will be pretty low, not SLAMMED, but on the verge of tucking tire front and back (all fenders are rolled). I understand that the 45's aren't the correct size and will throw the speedo off (by a very miniscule amount though), and I know that the 50's are what's recommended. I'm just having a hard time finding pictures online of the exact setup. Also, all the threads I read just leave me more confused on what size to get because everyone has their own opinions. I just want to know which size would help me achieve a nice, flush stance with minimal rubbing and camber adjustment.

Minimal rubbing and camber angle? Buy a wheel that fits correctly.

195/50 get my vote.

Neither tire size will fit safely on a 15x8 wheel. 225/50/15's would fit safely on those wheels, but you'll need to do some work on the car to increase tire clearance to the fenders/quarter panels.

I understand what you're saying, but that isn't what I'm asking. People run these sizes (well as way smaller sizes) all the time on 15x8 with no problems. I came from the VW scene where every other car has ridiculous stretched tires and I never heard one bad story regarding the safety. This car will not be driven hard, its just my DD to get around town and stuff.

With that said, could anyone maybe post some pictures or something?

I can appreciate what you're trying to accomplish, but...

From the Forum Rules and FAQ:
10. Do not ask about "stretching" tires onto wheels that are too wide.
All such topics will be locked. Tire manufacturers determine the wheel widths onto which each model and size tire can be mounted safely, and you can find the range of these wheel widths in the specs on their websites as well as those of retailers like the Tire Rack. Mounting tires onto wheels outside this range of approved wheel widths is unsafe because it can, and often does, result in the buildup of excessive stress and heat in the tire sidewalls, which can lead to the tire "popping the bead" and/or tire failure. Make sure your tires are mounted on wheels whose widths are within the approved range.

There is no way a 195/50-15 will fit a 15x8 wheel. Incidentally, I have a hard time believing a 15x8 wheel will fit your car without some HEAVY mods.
