Answers for Fit sport rims on civic q's
I've seen quite a few threads asking about putting the Fit sports on civics and integras so i hope this clears up all the questions people have. I'm running them on my eg hatch now with no problems. Will the sports fit my eg, ek, or dc? Yes and no. The offset on these wheels are +55. They will fit on the front with no problem but you have to use a minimum 5mm spacer on the rear to keep from rubbing. Do they rub in the front when you turn? The only time they rub on my hatch is when i have the wheel cranked all the way to one side. I've ran with the sports on thru all types of curves and never had them rub. So unless you turn the steering wheel as far as it can go you'll have no problems. How do they look on a civic? IMO they look sexy on eg hatches and ek coupes. If anyone has anymore questions i'll be happy to answer them.

Re: Answers for Fit sport rims on civic q's (egab)
they look so cleeeean!
I have a couple of question:
1. how much of a drop do you have on your EG and (2) what's the width of the Fit's rim?
I'm currently running CRX Si 14" (185/60/14 tires) on my 93 Si EG with Tein springs with a 1" drop and they are so close to the fender but no rubbing. (3) Can I get away with these FIT rims with the drop I currently have?
- Thanks

Remember, too, that the tire sizes used on a Fit may or may not be good for your Civic. Different years (and, in some cases, versions) Civic need different tire sizes.

I have a 3 1/4 inch drop in the front and 3 1/2 in drop on the rear. The Fit wheels are 15x6 1/2. Also remember i'm running 5mm spacers in the rear. Not an expert but you should be good with them with only a 1 in drop.

Is it the wheels that are rubbing, or the tires? What size tires are they? If the tires are too big for your car, it's no surprise that they would rub.

Yeah, it's too big, except I think the last year or two of the VTEC version of the del sol. Otherwise - if your original stock tire size was 175/70-13 or 185/60-14, which covers most del sols - you should be using 205/40-16.
