that looks like an early Honda shift linkage, most of them look like that stock, it looks like the two would hit each other, but it works really well, my 86 looks like the torque rod would hi the linkage rod, but it all works, edit I just noticed the wires rubbing the linkage, i thought it was being commented on because of how close the rods were together
