welding radiator support
This is a noob question but I see people welding in cars all the time. roll cages etc. and I always wonder.
I have to tack on a couple of pieces to the radiator support for the radiator to sit on. My question is, do I have to remove the battery or fuse boxes or anything like that? i've always been confused as to how welding parts of a car affects the cars electrical system.
thanks guys.

Re: welding radiator support
I always disconnect my ECU on my talon, but my ECU is damn expensive and im a bit **** about it. I disconnected the negative as well,
I've welded on other vehicles to do quick things when people are in a rush and don't bother disconnecting the battery or ecu, never seems to cause an issue.

Re: welding radiator support
Thanks for the info guys.
I'm paranoid so I'll probably just undo everything. Just wanted to what everyone else does.
