Default Made my own D Series Crank Pulley Holder

Well i needed to get it done to day, so with about $10 worth of home depot parts and about and hour with a drill, hack saw, and welder...

Gentlemen I give you:

PULLEY BUSTER 5000!

Worked like a charm both on this motor on the ground and one in the car

I had to borrow a car, drive from mass to ct, JUST TO GRAB THE WRONG bolt.(for a B)

I took the D out and put a LS in.

Torquing them is easy lol i just use my impact

this is really for the removal of bolts my impact wont take off

i was jumping up and down on a 6ft bar and using this tool to break those two bolts loose

lol

Why not just use a chain wrench?

Ahh i used a chanin wrench on my B series pulley. I would suggest getting an old belt to wrap around it first though. It slightly marred the ribs on the pulley.

I've seen setups like that, that have cracked the pulley at the holes...
I just yank off the dust cover on the flywheel, and use a screw driver between teh flywheel and bell housing. Works great every time.

GROUPBUY!

I just bought a JDM H22a and I don't this crank bolt was ever removed! It's the bolt from hell! Tried heating it up, impact gun (probably need a bigger compressor though, just a 3hp, 20 gal Craftsman compressor). My next and last hope is to build a 6 ft breaker bar and jump on it to get it off.
