Default Post You Painless or re-engineered wiring

Im trying to gather information on fabricating a slimed down chassis harness ... down to the very basic essential's ..
im doing this for as much weight savings as possible
example:
no a/c
no heater
no defrost
no srs system
and other misc. things not needed

and having the engine harness totally separate

im looking for personal experience

i could'nt find very much information about this subject maybe we could get it all in here

I make a Relay board to make this Much easier and cleaner install. i was in the same boat a while back and had to come up with something to do to keep the wire clutter down.

i sell the boards for $170 shipped 48 states.. since there made by hand. yes it comes with a diagram Very easy to use.
One Power and one ground connection
You have your Inputs(Signal) on the bottom of the board
On the top you have your outputs to control what ever

More details in my signature.

would you be more concerned for a case to cover the top or the bottom of the board? I can vaccum form a case out of ABS but getting around all the relays and terminals. Also you wouldnt be able to see the LED for active circuit.

this is all the wiring in my street/strip car other than the kill switch wiring, first picture is the cabin/chassis harness includes the headlights to the tailights. second picture is the engine/ign harness. there are four relays and one circuit breaker in the whole car. not one toggle switch on the car as well.

Here's some wiring I did. The terminal blocks are from NAPA. The switch and fuse panel is from Moroso if I remember right.
