Re: industrial ghetto dolphin tip
For a piece thats that visible it sucks maybe on a tractor or sumthing , I dont mind this kind of welding though it looks "tough" esp when its stacked up thick.

You could make it look 100 times better if you beveled the ends, welded together, then ground the welds smooth. Or you could buy a pre bent tube and just cut it to fit. Just my 0.02

I agree, it could be much better looking. I am not a welder, so cant take blame or credit. It was my local muffler guy. It's just a cheap tip, but I think it looks OK.

You should probably back it into a parking curb and smash it flat against the muffler so the car will no longer run and nobody else has to see that atrocity!

You might as well have used dryer ducting.
It looks like garbage.

At the very least take a flap wheel or sanding disc and knock the welds down so it looks like one uniform piece, then repaint it. At least then it won't look like some halfassed piece of scrap metal.

not sure what you expected it to look like when you take it to a muffler shop.
For what they do it looks fine. For what we do it doesn't. As stated above, take it off and grind it smooth and repaint it. Take you 30 minutes

Well, for my purposes it looks and works fine. I was cheap and you get what you pay for. Since I do not weld or have those tools, I cannot make it any better. To each their own.
