4g63 swap in a del sol
i know there are many threads about this topic, this thread is only directed to people whom has already done the swap. i dont need people telling me that 4g63s are crap because i have a 10sec talon, and its been on its 3rd season without breaking!! soo please i dont want to hear anybody saying that its not worth it, its a waste of time etc.
anyways for thoes who have done the swap, i was wondering how you guys did the swap. i picked up a del sol, and the motor is almost reached its time, i have about 2 spare 6 bolts laying around that i wouldnt mind freshining up and dropping into the delsol. any help can do i am located in NY so any help is greatly appreciated.

probably goes something like this...
1. take out old engine
2. place new engine in bay
3. make enginemounts to place the engine where you want it
4. have custom axles made with the honda outers
5. mount the dsm shifter assembly
6. do all the plumbing, ie intercooler, fuel etc
7. do some wiring
8. go get some crank walk.
anytime there are threads asking about how to do custom swaps, the first thing that comes to mind is if you have to ask then its probably too much work for you. your probably better off pming the guy who already started the "hey check out my sweet 4g63 swapped civic".

Re: 4g63 swap in a del sol
I bought a sol shell from a guy who attempted this, had everything in there, and quit when it came time for wiring. I can take a couple of pics of how he did the mounts, and actually I can sell you the mounts as well.....Pm me, we can work something out.
