I dont think that anyone has came up with that specific of a combination or anything of that sort but you can always be the first. Fit the shafts and have a plate made up at a machine shop. Take the measurments and what not and make a template and have on made up and then post the pics of it. I would like to see how it turns out if you do this project

i'd love to work on a project like this, but the crappy part is i'd need to have the combo infront of me to build it and i live all the way up here where we all live in igloos and work as lumberjacks.

what about instead of going with a b series, go with a miata driveline?

Why not put a sr20 in it... if your going to make a bastard child might as well stuff a big block in it.

Pretty much screwed with the reverse rotation, but I know g-force makes a G5 Reverse Rotation Honda Box..but be ready to fork over $7000+ for the trans alone.

or use a h powerplant & a gen III surpa tranny...a lit machining the plate and you have a nice setup :-)...then just use a custom gear set...any way you look at it its going to be costly...

U can use a miata tranny. All of the bolt holes but one will line up, need to get straight gear so u can spin the tranny backwards. Few other minor things. friend of mine did it in his coupe.

b16 honda engines turn backwards from any thing else, so if you get a straight cut gear tranny with an adaptor plate it will work all you have to do is flip the rearend over. and the car will go forward when it is in first.

I'll give him a call, see if he has any. He done a tons of stuff with his car, he has to much time or something. Started out as a regular coupe. Then was swapped with a b16. Then made RHD, then front engine rwd, now its mid engine rwd. From what i was told he actually help designed some of the hasport mounts, and actually was flown in to finish the falken drift cars at the last minute a few years back. **** he does is amazing. I'm kinda curious to if he still has the miata tranny still.

Just use the entire FWD assembly and put it in the back seat. That's what I did with my Mini.

If you want it a little more difficult, try the VG30 V6! It's been done but isn't an easy swap from what I understand.

why dont you just use a Kseries, and mount a s2000 transmission on it... vtec and RWD, problem solved... i think they just bolt up... i might have read that on another post. That might be a fun time to do all the fab work and make it fit and it is going to be faster than a b16.
Good luck

They don't. Someone claimed they did, and then when another someone actually tried it, it was completely off. It might still be fun, but wouldn't be easier than a B16, except possibly for the direction of engine rotation.

Joe mocked up a G-Force RWD transmission to the H22 engine..

Bolted right up. He is actually considering when Party Time is done to build a full tube EP with K engine on it.
