Says aluminized.
Galvanized is Zinc coated, whereas aluminized is an aluminum silicon coating.

Galvanized is Zinc coated, whereas aluminized is an aluminum silicon coating.
Aluminized steel is carbon steel coated, through the hot-dip process, with an aluminum-silicon alloy. The aluminum coating provides resistance to high temperatures and a bright appearance. The silicon promotes better adherence of the coating to the base metal.

You need to read. Galvanized piping is used in plumbing systems, typically residential settings.

And I have a Borla straight through muffler. Haven't bought a resonator or cat yet as I'm still exploring my options.
Nope, aluminized is correct. It's steel hot dipped in an aluminum alloy. Useful for its resistance to corrosion.
EDIT - Caoboy got the jump on me too haha

Oh hey, you are over on reddit.
To answer the question about my setup, it is just the harbor freight 7x12 band saw with a Lenox blade. I just set the included fence at 7.5* off of 90* and set up the included stop where needed. The hardest part of my setup for pie cuts is rotating the tube exactly 180* each cut.

Lol small internet
In tryna get this loser @Caoboy over there but he says were a bunch of hipsters
What i do is mark the side with angle straight down
Then measure 180 with a piece of twine and mark that side
Then measure my long end of the cut mark that on my 180 and start the cut there.
For the 180. Measure the od of the pipe then multiply by 3.14 then divide that by 2 and thats your 180 mark

How do you change your angle with your setup drew?
Also once you get your piece tacked do you weld it like your 'finished' pic or do you keep it in the 'flat' position?

I make new angles
So far i have a 7.5 degree angle and a 12 degree
They take maybe 5 min to make.
Are you asking how i welded the cuts together?
Im still experimenting with the best way but i think clamping it to the angle worked the best kept it nice and stable.

Ok cool you're making jigs then.
And yeah what position are you keeping them in.
It is almost always easiest/most comfortable to keep the part to be welded in the 'flat' position.
That way you can worry about keeping the bead consistent, not have to worry as much about torch angle and filler angle etc.

Re: ***WELDING RANDOM CHAT THREAD***
Watch out for the WPS tricks they like to pull. For instance, they will say "Oh, I see you are interested in a GMAW position, here is the WPS, set up the machine". Well, in reality they gave you a GTAW WPS. They usually are looking for people that can catch this sort of thing. Hopefully you are applying for something that is more than $9 - $12 an hour though... however, 9 times out of 10 they want experience.

Re: ***WELDING RANDOM CHAT THREAD***
Good tip. I'll keep that in mind if I get a call back.
I know they test, it was something small like you weld a box together with 1/8" mild steel plate, fluxcore.
I'm going to ask the guy who told me about the job how his test went.
I am supposed to know how to read blueprints...I took the class, I can mostly read them, but I need to brush up on weld symbols just to be sure. Who knows, they might have their own version of the language and what I know won't matter lol.
Other than that...it's just getting my feet wet getting back out looking for jobs again..I haven't done that in almost 10 years.

Just gonna make my exhaust and dp and paint/cover up the welds so no one can see how atrocious they are. Piping is going to be 3"
Probably will pick up a tig after-tax returns.
