FS: 1994 Milano Red Civic EX coupe w/ light mods
Located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Bumps are appreciated. Please PM me with any cash/trade offers.
**I am looking to get $3700obo or trade (I am willing to throw in cash, take cash, or straight up depending on the vehicle) for; 96-00 Civic 4dr or hatch, clean 90-91 crx/hatch (must be SI trim), 99-00 Civic SI, 94-97 del sol, or possibly a 1g DSM (pref AWD)**
I bought this car with the intention of doing all of the suspension upgrades, and then doing a turbo setup/k-series setup. Well, **** came up in my life and I no longer have a place to store this car/work on this car and I don't have the time/money to keep this project going right now. In the 1 1/2 years that I have owned it, I have only roughly 10k miles on it.
The car has 254,xxx miles. When I bought the car, the middle aged couple I got it from had a stack of maintenance records (which they didnt want to turn over due to CC #'s being on invoices etc) and told me they got it from a family friend who worked for a Honda dealership for the first 13 years of the cars life. The engine runs strong. The car does not burn or leak any fluids! I have pulled the valve cover off when doing the tune up, and the head looks very clean, and very well taken care of for the miles on the car!
The car was repainted a year ago the stock Milano Red color due to the paint being faded (as most older red Honda's do). When I got it, the body had light surface rust on 1 quarter panel. It was cut out and a new patch panel was welded in before it was painted. The front hood emblem and the rear trunk emblem/badging was also shaved.
Mods/Pros:
Clean paint, about 1 year old
Shaved front and rear emblems
Debadged
Color matched side skirts, lips, and side moldings
I just had a brand new windshield installed. It has no rock chips, cracks, or even nicks on it.
Fresh tune up less than 3k ago.
Integra rear disc conversion
Earls stainless steel brake lines front and rear
Brembo Blank rotors front and rear
Hawk HPS pads front and rear
Rear lower tie bar
Megan Racing LCA's
Front sway bar has brand new Energy Suspension bushings and endlinks
All of the suspension bushings have been replaced with Hard Race Bushings with less than 4k miles on them (except the LCA's).
Tokico Illumina Struts
Skunk 2 Coilovers
6pt roll bar w/ harness bar welded in. Made by S&W race cars (not a hack job, as my good friend has welded for a living for the last 10+ years)
the rear seat has been pulled apart, and the support has been cut around the roll bar, and the seat closed back off. Fully functional (will go up and down still), yet retains a full front and rear interior.
Door panels/quarter panels are covered with black tweed (CTR style fabric).
Nice, clean set of 'coupe' floor mats, which are somewhat rare.
Dual head unit w/ HD radio and Ipod hook up with new speakers throughout the car
Antenna block off plate with an internal antenna (mounted to the top of the front windshield) so you can still listen to the radio
Rear strut bar welded in
I still have a set of 2 Crow Racing Harness's if potential buyer is interested. I would not recommend using with stock seats though.
Cluster/climate control/clock have all been switched to amber bulbs like the JDM units, while keeping the original units in the car
Sitting on Del Sol Fat 5's with 50ish% tread.
Security (*which will be disclosed ONLY when I have cash in hand*)
Cons:
Throwout bearing is going out. It's an inexpensive fix, but I dont have the time/place to work on it anymore.
Small rock chips on the front bumper from being my daily driver for a little bit while my other car was getting fixed.
1 small spot on the drivers fender where there is a misperfection in the paint from being wet sanded.
The cruise control and windshield washer fluid bottle have been removed from the engine bay (I still have both and will include them in the sale/trade)
The AC quit working towards the end of the summer, but should just need a recharge (I didnt care, I always drive with the windows down)
Onto the pictures. If you are interested, and would like any other specific shots, let me know and I will try to get them, or see if I happen to already have them in a timely manner. Sorry for the quality, the sun was setting, I have a p&s camera, and was trying to hurry while I had time.
What the car once looked like... Aftermarket wheels will do wonder for this car!
The 5pt crow harness's if the buyer is interested...
