The Good/General
Recently purchased a new car this last week and my old daily is up for sale. I have owned the car for little over and year which all modifications were done by me personally as the car was completely stock when I bought it. The car has higher mileage at 172k however I have not had a single issue with the car ever which I'm sure most of you know already being a Honda. The color combo is super rare being perl white ext and grey interior (most are creme) and the paint is nearly flawless with little to no dings or dents.
Just recently replaced and bunch of OEM bits as the car being a 99 had some wear items. Parts included Honda factory floor mats, elbow pads (both front doors), door cigarette trays (were scuffed from shoes), fog lights (cost $110ea), several of the chrome bumper trim pieces, and a few other misc. parts. While I was at it I had the front and rear bumpers completely stripped and resprayed from normal wear and tear on the paint from prior owners. I also pulled the headlights apart and had the headlight bezels black chromed and also de-ambered them and resealed (using factory silicone) to simulate CTR headlights.
The suspension on the car is BCRacing BR-Type coilovers which were custom made for the car (none others exist) with independent fully adjustable height and peload as well as the shocks being 30 way damping adjustable. The wheels are also one off (none others exist) CCW forged monoblock wheels with Hankook tires. Both are setup perfectly for my tastes; rear don't rub at all even with 5 adults in the car; fronts due to nearly perfect camber and not stretch want to rub here and there but can easily be fixed buy raising the car 1/4" or so.
General maintenance has been performed every 3k miles by a customer/friend John Walsh (His Old Car) who is a 7year + certified Honda technician at Space Coast Honda in Cocoa Beach, FL. Both front axles are new as they were torn when I got the car (replaced by John at the dealership). The timing belt was last changed at 140k and knew it would need to be serviced soon so when I bought all the interior oem bits I also bought a brand new OEM Honda waterpump ($275), timing belt, balancer belt, cams seals, and crank seal all in original bags and boxes and come with the car.
The Bad/Unfinished
Cosmetically the front grill is complete but not yet painted or installed (can be done before the sale if wanted). The front passenger side fender right on the edge about a 1.5" long has some paint chipping due to my wife; tire rubbed fender hard and simply pulled the paint off about 1/8" up on the outside of the fender (can be done before the sale if wanted). Doesn't absolutely need but would be really nice to have a rebuilt steering rack installed. It has a variable speed rack and many RL guys seem to have issues with the internals wearing out cause a decent vibration under acceleration and breaking due to access play. It also leaks which due to the factory exhaust routing loves to drip on it during driving and it smells once stopped out of the car. I don't however have issues with it leaking when not in use on the driveway so I left it be...
