1997 Integra, JDM Type R Front, GSR Swap with LSD
The Red Baron (it was a short adventure) is for sale. I bought this car in mid-June with the full intention of building it into a Honda Challenge competitor. Things have changed and I went the #boughtnotbuilt route and no longer need the car.
CAR IS OFF THE MARKET
I searched hard for the cleanest chassis I could find. Everything that came bolted to it was just a bonus to me. The car came from down south and has only lived in the northeast for a very short period of time. A cursory glance under the car and at the wheel wells will quickly confirm the lack of rust anywhere on the chassis.
The car is inspected until July of 2017. The car has a clean title.
That being said it is a ~20 year old car and the chassis has somewhere around 174K on it. The paint shines up nice, but there are spots where it is dinged, scratched, etc. Primarily the rear spoiler. The JDM front bumper needs a paint job and the passenger door is faded. The rear half of the interior is gutted #becausewannaberacecar.
While I haven't had the car for a real significant amount of time. I have done a trip down to NJMP (no track time) in Millville NJ and back to Rockaway in a weekend with no issues. As far as the rest of the car goes, I have only identified two foibles, 1) the secondary runners on the intake are always open 2) the fan won't turn on (it has power, runs when 'shorted', is not the relay, and has a new fan switch), which I am slowly diagnosing as I have time. It might just be that this car's thermostat is lower than the fan switch setting.
"Enhancements" are as follows:
-JDM Type R front end swap
-OEM HID black housing headlights and ballasts
-VIS carbon fiber hood
-Rebuilt B18C1 swap with transmission and LSD (performed over winter of 15/16) would say less than 10K on this
-Moroso oil pan
-P72 ECU and chipped OBDI ecu with jumper
-Greddy header
-Koyo radiator
-Innovative motor mounts
-Sweet metallic paint job on the valve cover
-Short ram intake
-KYB AGX adjustable dampers with coilovers
-16 in. Rota wheels
-GSR brakes with new rotors
-Front and rear Cusco swaybars
-Rear spherical end links
-Comptech rear subframe brace
The car still has the OG factory manuals and leather bound binder. If the car is sitting too high for your tastes its easy to drop it with the coilovers. I also have a completely overhauled and rebuilt ($750 worth of work) B16 head (and misc stuff for it) along with a brand new Skunk2 intake that can go with the car for the right price. Perfect to make yourself a little Frankenstein motor with.

And I bought it with the door that way. It sure looks like the faded out trunk lid on a Legend I had years ago. There is no accident history that I'm aware of.

Badump bump. I'd like this gone before the weekend. I'm leaving on a business trip. Taking serious offers if you drive it away ASAP.

$3,000 to whoever buys it by Sunday morning.
I leave for a business trip for 2 weeks after that.
