1993 Honda Del Sol $3,000 OBO SAMBA GREEN ( Cincinnati, Ohio ) CHEAP!!!
It is not pictured and I will get some updated pictures a.s.a.p, but it DOES have a VIS carbon fiber hood and it has GSR leathers in it.
I may lower the price slightly if I can keep the cd player or you have your own seats to put in there. I'm not in a hurry to sell this thing so please do not push this matter or offer me something ridiculous for this car i'll just ignore you. I work 65+ hours a week at two jobs. I will do my best to work around your schedule and meet up with you.
1993 Honda Del sol
Samba Green
208,xxx miles on the body
98,xxx on the motor ( came out of a 98 Civic HX )
d16y5 V-Tec motor does not leak or burn anything. Just installed on 01/25/08
Highway driving is getting 40+ mpg
D16z6 Intake manifold ( to avoid EGR on the y5 )
Converted back to obd1
Still using the z6 tranny miles are unknown not sure if its the original tranny but its a possiblity. Either way the tranny shifts fine with no grinds.
GSR Leather Seats With Del Sol Rails
VIS Carbon Fiber Hood
Type R Shift Boot ( Knock Off )
Some kind of knock off cat back exhaust isn't loud though.
Has Original Green Del Sol Floormats
Have a folder about 2 inches thick of all previous maint. done by previous owners including purchase receipt from the original owner.
Panasonic Cd player
Infiniti 6 1/2's in the back
Stock 5 star del sol rims ( green with a polished lip, I'm told this is stock but not so sure about that )
Tires have decent tread
A/C unit is all there and works fine. Could use a recharge doesn't get ice cold like it use to, but still gets cold.
Newer Parts:
Battery was replaced about 4 months old.
New Alternator about 6 months ago.
Just had a tune up when the new motor was put in.
Bad:
This car is a 1993 and its by no means perfect but I think with the aftermarket parts and especially the newer motor this is a pretty fair price. The following things are known problems big or small that I would like the new owner to be aware of.
Has normal hond rust around quarter panels
Has rust around fuel door and some on the exterior pillar on the driver side
Car was backed into in a parking lot a few scuffs on the front bumper but it is not cracked and the
Driver side Corner light housing is broken ( still functions ) head light is fine.
Back Bumper has a few black scuffs on it.
Top leaks a little during heavy rain on the driver side.
