Y21 trans gears??

Y21 trans gears??
ok i need help i bought a 92-93 ys1 trans the guy said it was the jdm one with the lsd but he was wrong the gear ratios are WAY TO LONG so he said that was his bad he put a oem lsd in it and didnt count the gears so he just sent me a set of Y21 gears and i counted the teeth and this is what i got...
1st main 12
counter 39
2nd main 19
counter 39
3rd main 24
counter 34
4th main 29
counter 32
5th main 32
counter 29
so then i looked on ffsquad and got a different teeth count on all types of transmissions. All i did is count the teeth on the gears. Is that what i do??
if anyone knows the teeth count or if im doin it wrong let me know. thanks!!

sounds like not one of your ratios match the hydro ones/latter cable gen...unless you counted wrong. it looks to be b16 1st and 2nd, but i don't know about that 3rd and 4th...and have never seen a blank 5th like that without any notches on the teeth. 3, 4, and 5 look really close together. you can see the biggest difference in ratios is from 2nd to 3rd. like an LS. has a small 3/4 non vtec sleeve on it (visually compared it to the 5/r sleeve) and non removable friction cone on 3rd gear (only on vtec trans 3rd gears). and lastly the countershaft end bearing is the kind on the early gen cable transmissions (small spline) which doesn't have two seperate bearings instead a tall one with the groove for the clip in the middle. definitely not y21. how many splines are on the mainshaft? i don't think you got a 92-93 cable transmission....
