Default Type R gears need a new case

Sooo rebuilding my b18c that was from my buddy's totaled civic. The head is finished and im waiting on my parts to come to finish up my block. The only existing problem lies in the transmission. When the car impacted the other car it broke off a good sized chunk where the T bracket bolts onto. This transmission was build roughly 5k miles ago and am wondering if i am able to say just find a hydro b16 tranny, GSR tranny, or hell even a LS tranny just to swap all my internals into from case to case. Also im going to need a place to do this if anyone knows a reliable place in PA or MD. I live in greencastle, PA so areas like Baltimore and Harrisburg are within driving distance for reliable service. Any thoughts on this conundrum of mine?

As long as everything internally is ok you can swap it to another case. MS, CS, and diff runout will need t be checked. MS and diff will need to be shimmed in the new case.

Any one know of a reliable shop or member that could do this for a reasonable cost? Preferably someone reasonably close to the PA/MD boarder lol.

IMW is in PA, though not sure if they have the tools to shim the mainshaft or not.

I can handle it if you can't find anyone local that is well versed in transmissions, just a short trip to UPS.

Shawn (Hondabull) can be reached via PM's or you can contact IMW as that is where he works (part time now so you might need to leave a message for him).
