Replaced transmission and I have same problem

Default Replaced transmission and I have same problem

I have a 2000 odyssey when trans warms up it goes into neutral. I replaced trans did ok for a wile now doing the same thing. Has codes po740 and p1738. Anyone know what may be wrong ? I'm goin nuts thanks.

You have an electrical fault in the torque converter clutch and the 2nd gear pressure switch.

Was the wiring harness checked for damage?
Were any parts reused on the rebuilt unit?

Of course, check the fluid too, wont fix that problem, but make sure it is full and not leaking.

Thanks for replying. I didn't see any wire damage but I'll check again. No trans parts were reused. The transmission I put in was out of a junk yard. But having the same prob? . I'll check electrical again

All of those transmissions suffered from the same problem. There are a fair number of people on their 3rd or 4th transmission with those Odysseys. I'd never recommend a junkyard transmission for this vehicle or a V6 Accord/TL of similar vintage. What you want is a rebuilt unit (and flush the cooler and lines before installing)
