Default 2001 Honda Accord EX Tranny Issue

Hello,

I'm not certain, but I think I'm having a transmission issue. The problem I'm having is when taking off in 1st gear there appears to be some slippage in the accelleration. When I press the pedal softly and ease into the accelleration it appears to be better. After 1st gear everything seems to be fine. I also noticed that sometimes changing from 1st to 2nd gear has a bit of a jerk. The transmission fluid level is fine. However, I haven't done a visual inspection to see what the color looks like. Any idea how to confirm if this is a tranny issue, and if so what solutions are available?Btw, the car has 232k miles and still has the original engine and transmission.

Thanks,
Troy
