MFactory D16 RT4WD helical LSD
Being MFactory's North American Installer and one of their Distributor's has allowed us to do some great things with them for the D Series community.
First we brought the MFactory D Series 40mm helical LSD to market.
Next we brought the MFactory D Series 35mm helical LSD to market.
Finally we brought the MFactory DOHC ZC helical LSD to market which allowed people with a 40mm D Series transmission to use equal length B series size axles.
Now we are bringing the D Series RT4WD helical LSD to market. This will fit both cable and hydro transmissions. In the works with MFactory since late 2017 it's now ready for pre-order. This will work the same as the other pre-orders we did. Since it's been 9 years since we did that, full details can be found here.
It will take 10 pre-orders to get production started so lets make this happen!

Hi - I've got the S22 Hydro transmission in my EH1 RTSi, and you definitely have my attention. But I also see these guys have developed a Torsen LSD for the RealTime Dual Pump CR-V/Element type rear diff, which is what I have. Can you speak to advantages/disadvantages to one or the other? Or mounting both? It is a daily driver in winter/snowy conditions, so my primary interest is improved traction.

Torsen is a brand. The Gear-X rear LSD is a helical LSD. It would work great paired with the MFactory front LSD I have on pre-order. Helical LSD's only function under load so if a wheel is unloaded (by ice in your case) it will revert to functioning as an open diff. I also carry Gear-X. They're not currently up on my site but if you contact me you can order both of the LSD's in one go.

Cool. Before I pull the trigger on anything, I need to make sure my current rear diff unit is compatible with the CR-V/Element's differential to install the LSD and/or I can swap an entire CR-V/Element rear diff unit over into the Civic's. By just comparing photos they look pretty similar. Any chance you've got a CR-V/Element differential in your shop to give me some basic dimensions off it? Width, length, distance between mounting points, that type of thing.
Here's what mine looks like. It's nearly identical in design to the CR-V/Element one, but I don't know if the dimensions are the same.

I don't have any here. Unfortunately the only way to know is to open it up and pull the differential out for comparison. Swapping the K series rear likely won't be an option unless you want to have a custom front or rear (or both) final drive made s I highly doubt it shares the same gear ratio as the RTSi rear.
