8.5LB Flywheel weight
I ordered a new clutch kit for my car (2000 Stock Honda Civic DX SE) and it comes with a 8.5lb flywheel. What will I experience with this lightend flywheel? Will I have any problems with it?

well it requires a steadier left foot but other than that not alot will change except traffic will be more annoying and racing will be (ever so) slightly faster

more annoying because your feet have to be in sync better and it will be less forgiving to any mistakes. however if your someone who revs the engine to 2,000 before letting out the clutch you won't notice much difference at all. To get it smooth as the stock 20lb flywheel when letting the clutch out just takes some practice.
it depends largely on the type of clutch used also.

Its a ton more fun to drive dude, I don't understand why people down them. I have an 8lb and its a dream. Your clutch will have more to do with the driveability of it. I installed a 12lb on an otherwise stock prelude the other day and it was a dream to drive. I really haven't found a downfall to it. And while it is easier to stall, you can also keep it lit if you're quick enough. I've almost stalled the car to the point where I thought it was dead and push the clutch back in and its came right back up to idle.
Its really not that bad, and I've never had an issue with RPM drop between shifts. Even when I'm granny shifting and i've got an 8lb flywheel with a crank thats 8lbs lighter than stock. It seems like such an overreaction.
