4speed to a 5speed
i gotta 4speed civic tranny messed up leaking oil.but my question is can i put a 5speed tranny it with the 5speed clutch will it work without changing the motor to

Yes you can...assuming you have an 89 trans..you can use an 89-91 5 speed. The 88 transmissions have a different clutch spline and will require a different clutch disk.
Only thing you will need to change other than that is your shift **** =P lol

ran into a prob brothas had a clutch 4 a forspeed but i got da 5speed tranny the flywheel has 21 teeth for the 5peed tranz n da4speed trans has 20 teeth so can i jus geta flywheel with the 21 teeth or jus exchange the whole clutchkit
