Default yonaka axles? a cost debate...

hi,

has anyone used axles from yonaka motorsports? (www.yonaka.com) i need some new axles for my B16A2-equipped EG. i'm running basically stock power levels (~175hp).

streetimports.com has them for $149 ($199 w/ shipping + tax), and they're in canada so shipping/customs issues are a moot point.

i'm considering some raxles units (www.raxles.com); i spoke with them on the phone and they are quite knowledgable. but at $319 + $30 shipping + $140 customs fees ($489 total), i'm hesitant.

i know the raxles product is superior; but a $300 difference in price is QUITE significant. i'm just trying to see if i'm going to be throwing my $199 away on the yonaka units.

comments?

thanks.

Yonaka makes those rip-off recaro replica seats.
Tell you the truth, I would personally buy axles from a reputable company if your dropping the money then some company that rips off every other brand name product

i hear you... i do. but what intrigued me was that how many companies bother making a niche product like swap axes and intermediate shafts? does that not seem interesting?

i'm heavily leaning towards the raxles units, i'm just concerned about the cost.

and....i guess i know i'm going to get burned on the yonaka ones.

f it. i'll order the raxles axles.
