Default 96 Honda ek hatch Wiring issue? Not sure about dimming light cluster

Not sure of this is the right place to post this. But I have a 96 Honda ek hatch. Has a y7/y8 mini me. Got this car a few months ago and I’ve had nothing but trouble with it lol. Anyways, I put leds in my gauge cluster a few days ago. Now they are very dim. They wasn’t before. I put all stock bulbs back in and they are still dim. Battery light has been on since I got it, sometimes it dies coming to a stop when I push in the clutch. Alternator I’m guessing cause of the light. But I got to looking under my dash today and found these two wires together. Any idea what they go to? Thank you!

looks like factory wires to me. I’ll take a better photo in the morning

thanks for the reply! One is solid black, with silver spots on it (looks like paint pen) then a blue with thin black line, with the silver spots on it also.

I can’t get a good photo.

I'm assuming the car was originally auto and converted to manual? Does the car start without pressing the clutch? If so, that's the clutch safety switch that was rigged and tied together.

Yes it’s factory Manuel. Your probably right! It does start with out pushing in the clutch. I didn’t think about that. I was starting to post the car did have a alarm in it at one time, was thinking maybe it might have something to do with that. I’ll unhook them just for the heck of it and see what happens lol.
Now to figure out why my back lights in my cluster decided to stop working 😳. Thank you for the help!

does your parking lights work? If they aren't, look where the radio is at. If it's an aftermarket unit, likely the illumination wire is grounding out against metal. That will blow the parking light fuse and continue to do so until you fix the exposed wire/connection. Since you mentioned about an alarm, the "white" wire of the alarm may be the culprit as well. That wire is connected to parking lights to flash when you arm/disarm the alarm.
