Yeah, but just like Tom Nelson said, the more you know, you realize, the less you know.

He's been building engines for 20 years professionally and in his video he covers just about every aspect. And even he realizes it's such a complex web that nailing down the precise details is beyond most of us.

It really seems like it is so complex it boils down to trial and error, tweaking and testing.

Here is the awesome video I just watched. Think it should be a must watch for anyone beginning in the mod their car scene. Just my opinion there.
