Default p1399 Random / Multiple Cylinder Misfire After ugeo install

I just installed a aem uego and switched to obd1. After everything was installed and I started it up the check engine light was on. I installed the resistor in the ecu to stop the cel. So I tried to switch back to the p2p and it still has a cel that flashes and then stays on then flashes. It is also running like crap. Shaking and not idleing right at all. When I tried to flash the cel out nothing happens it just stays light. Any ideas??

Well I went to buy a obd2 cel light reader and it said code p1399. The reader web site said that is P1399 Honda Random / Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected The only thing I can think of is that I grounded the uego to the bolt that holds the distributer in place on the side of the head. I would'nt think that would cause the distributer to misfire? Other than that I have know clue. All I know is it ran fine before I installed the stuff???? Any help would be great as I have no ideas left.

Ok that code is not associated with OBD1 ECU's at all. If your using an OBD1 ECU in an OBD2 car you have to use the jumper which is usually in the pass side under the dash. Its the 2 prong plug. If the CEL is off when you start the car and when you jump it there is no stored code. If you have a CEL and then jump it count the flashes. Long =10 and shorts are 1. If your using the UEGO as your primary O2 Sensor its not going to read correctly because its a 1-5v O2 sensor while stock is 0-1v. I have the 6 in 1 and to run with stock ECU you have to move the settings in the back. Depending on what you have it may be slightly different
