Um, where to start
the car is lighter, has a more powerful engine, has better suspension parts.
Why do you ask? Is someone trying to sell you one? The only type R brought to the states is the Integra...no civics and no NSX's.

Visually:

Red Acura badging
Type R stickers

Unique color (Black, Yellow, White)

I'm sure there's more...

Mechanical Differences:

Re-inforced yet lightweight body
Heavier springs/shocks
Bigger brakes
RE010 stock tires
Many different braces
Clutch
Lightweight flywheel
Voodoo magic...

please continue my surely incomplete list fellas...

where did you get that 93LSivic?

according to itrsport's website..
In the interests of high rpm, high output and weight reduction, the Type R utilizes a large-diameter throttle body and exclusive single-port intake manifold. The throttle bore has been increased by 2 mm to 62 mm to allow for increased intake flow.

Either im illiterate or you need to get your facts straight.
