I have noticed this noise lately after replacing my transmission. The transmission was making noise, now thats gone and I can hear this noise. Not loud from inside the car but not good either.

I also notice slight hesitation/loss of power from a stop sometimes and low idle. I am really hoping a valve adjustment will solve all these issues.

Lol, anyone what? No question in your post. You will indeed want to check the valve clearances. There's some info here https://honda-tech.com/forums/tech-misc-15/loud-ticking-possibly-bent-valve-what-look-2791770/ where we were recently talking about this. I'd recommend getting a maintenance manual if you don't already have one and follow the steps inside.

The valve adjustment at the dealership is $150. Sounds worth it if this is in fact the problem.

I was mostly kidding but the idea is that yes, the clearances are probably causing at least some of the noise but you'll of course have to check them to know for sure. Even if you aren't comfortable setting them, if you're ok with taking the valve cover off then you can check the clearances with a feeler gauge and see if and how far off they are.
