symptoms: deposits on spark plug + burning oils = bad piston rings?
okay, i have a 95 gsr stock with 120,000 miles. I understand that its common for a gsr to burn oil, but lately, the motor eats about half of a quart of oil every gas tank (230 miles). I changed the spark plugs about 4 months ago and now discovered that there are thick layers of white deposits around the tips. The spark plugs were NGK iridium.
The compression test results are: 218, 210, 206, 210 (cyl 4,3,2,1)
I heard the stock gsr compression suppose to be 270 per cylinders. Is this true? Are the piston rings bad? or is it head gasket? how long do you think the motor can hang untill it breaks down?
Any info would be appreciated

those compression #'s arent bad at all, you may want to replace your vavle guide seals and go from there
