Default Strange AC freon / refrigerant leak

2002 S2000 with 90k miles.

The AC blows cold after a evac/recharge, but after sitting over night it leaks out.

Ultra violet dye was put through the system, but still can't find the source of the leak.

Pulled the evaporator core and there wasn't any dye there. Actually found a relatively new evaporator core upon inspection.

The car is at a local shop waiting on a missing bolt for the expansion valve. Once this is in, they plan to reinstall and over pressurize the system to try and force out the leak.

Has anyone been in this position before? Any ideas on what the problem could be or where the leak is coming from?

Thanks in advance.
