White smoke is often a tell tale sign of a bad head gasket. Check your oil and see if there's water in it.

If the white smoke in your exhaust smells sorta like antifreeze.
If you get oil in the radiator, or antifreeze in the oil... Either one or both.
If you get bubbles coming into the antifreeze overflow bottle when you rev the engine.
If any of your spark plugs look really, really, clean & shiny.
Compression test & leakdown test would be a good way to tell.
