Default Seized Alternator Through Bolt

I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what I may want to try to take out a seized alternator lower through bolt? Keep in mind I am unable to use any power tools.

So far I have sprayed it with a ton of WD40, I have torched the living hell out of it, and I made myself a nice steel extension that I can place against the bolt and pound continuously with a sledgehammer. I have pounded that bolt so much that I am actually warping the steel extension, and yet the bolt has not moved 1mm.

I have never come across a bolt so stubborn. Any ideas? Or is this going to be a battle of the wills.

ha ha ha ha,, sorry man, i just thought that was funny, i have fought that bolt from hell before for like an hour on my brothers ek coupe, it took using a rubber mallet and a rod or something against it to knock it out. Good luck, oh and be patient, that bolt can cause some extreme anger..

sometimes you can twist the bolt out if you can turn it and apply pressure to force it out and the same time, almost like unscrewing it.

Take a sharp chisel and hit it between the alt bracket and the big square end....should drive it out.

Did you actually do this and it worked? Or has anyone else?

I have tried liquid wrench penetrating oil, air hammer with hammer bit on it. twisting it with pliers. bolt has not moved not even 1mm.

any advice from anybody would be great?

I dont care if I have to cut the bracket off, how would i go about doing that?

Cut on either side of alternator. Remove and replace bracket and alternator.

Thank you for the reply. What do I cut it with. I have plenty of tools. Just want to make sure I use the right one for the job.

When you say on either side do you mean through the through bolt?

Thank again for taking the time to reply!
