RC Injector connector issues with obd2 99 EX - ghetto fix
Just posting a fix and fact I found recently when building my d16y8
recently acquired RC 550cc injectors, ~12 ohm, however when installed the connectors on the injectors were obd1 style, no the offset obd2 style. I tried using d16z6 connectors, but those wont fit either. I was sold these saying they would fit. Now I could have run and adapter harness but I didn't want extra wires and a none factory look or be worried about the adapter quality. So if you happen to be at a junkyard or have a BMW E36 318I M44 harness laying around, the connectors are almost a perfect fit. You simply have to shave about 1-2mm off the back so they clear the fuel rail. They also have metal retaining clips to lock the connectors in place, then just cut and crimp. I'm sure there are heaps and heaps of other cars connectors that will work, but I knew these connectors would be good quality and lock into place securely.
