Radiator question
My radiator is leaking from the top and I don't have a chance to replace it yet. The thing is that it leaks like 1-2 drips a second on to the ground when the engine is running. I look at the reservior and it is still has the same amount of coolant, I leave the radiator cap off and the coolant does not go down even when the engine is warmed up. After it is warmed up, I let it run for another 3-5 minutes and the coolant in the radiator and reservior is still the same. I then shut off the engine and let it cool. After it is cooled, I put in some water in the radiator and it's less than the amount that leaked out. Stupid question but "Is it possible that the coolant from the block is getting drained?" Also is it safe to drive as long as I don't let the reservior run out of coolant/water? Thanks

it is safe to drive as long as you carry a gallon of water and avoid long trips. I would get the radiator replaced soon though, go to a junk yard and pick one out....make sure it doesn't leak before you purchase it though.
