Default pm7 pistons/rods on d16a6 crank in d15b7?

yes i searched...
i have a set of pm7 pistons and rods that i want to use in a build soon.
i plan on doing a a6/z6 mini me but am getting a complete d15b7 for free so i might as well use it. [right?]

FACTS [correct me if i'm wrong]:
all d-series have the same bore
d15 & d16 have different crankshafts which means...
d15 & d16 have different size stroke and crank journals

pm7 pistons on pm7 rods connected to a d16a6 crank in the d15b7
essentially makes it a 1.6 since the stroke is LONGER, correct?
so deck height, valve clearance, and bearing sizes are the only issues?
align honing can take care of the bearing size.
thanks

the d15b7 has 45mm mains and d16's have 55mm mains
also the pistons would stick out of the block because d15 blocks are shorter(except jdm d15 vtecs and the d15z1)

correct, except the d15b vtec and the d15z1. Don't worry, it's a bit tricky. the d15b and the d15z1 have longer rods (137mm) and shorter pistons

you can however put the pm7s on the d15b7 rods, but you'd lose compression due to the shorter stroke
