Re: people w/ b20vtec: setup cost? (Wazup)
Cost huh? ALOT!
For me, I used mostly all aftermarket parts [piston, rods, cams, cam gears, valvetrain, header, exhaust, intake manifold, Hondata S200, FPR, fuel rail, injectors, CAI, MSD 6al system, throttle body, Clutch & flywheel, stage 3 port & polish]
I thinks thats pretty much it. I bought most of my parts brand new so thats why my total cost is alot higher than most. Unfortunately, I was able to run my motor for 1.5 months before I blew my motor. Currently in the process of rebuilding it... Hope to get it back on the road within the next 2-3 weeks.
Right now, I am having Kurt Gordon of KG Precision Engineering rebuild my bottom end & fix my head. KG is located in Huntington Beach...Very respectable guy and his prices are awesome.....I was able to get new brand new ARIAS 11.5:1 pistons with rings for $450.
Peace
