Typical carbon buildup plus a little bit of other **** from removing the head. Looks good to me. You may want to run some Seafoam through it once you get it back together though.

looks pretty normal except for what appears to be some sort of white crust on the pistons? It may just be the camera flash or something. Either way, nothing out of the ordianary.

Looks healthy to me. I would just run a high pressure vac over the pistons (with a brush) and suck the carbon off.

Don't blow it off or scrape it off though, you don't want that **** down in the rings.

Looks to me like you have some signs of detonation... difficult to tell from the pics though.

i've never heard any pinging... but then again i dont know what it sounds like... hopefully the knock sensor was doing its job?? does it need to be rebuilt? There is no lip on the bore , compression was fine. I just hope someone can tell me what i'm looking at.

looks fine just some carbon build up and leave that on! higher compression.

there were never any deposits on the spark plugs. I think it was running a tad hot though.

Look good to me just normal build up , I wouldnt really be concerned with the little bit of crust as long as the plugs werent pure white your fine could have been just a bad batch of gas

I'm not totally sure but is there anything wierd about the what looks like hte really white, exhaust valves? maybe thats just me i'm not sure?? I know that a really white spark plug like that means a rapid rise in heat, like when you would get on it (?) if i am talking out of my *** just say so???

just my 2 cents

i guess it could be the camera flash too, i can't tell

What we can't see on the pics are the cylinder wall hash marks. Are they still there? Do you see evident wear on any part of the cylinder walls? Any scoring? All that will make a difference with compression numbers.
