OBD2 H22 - Need help with wiring OBDI Distributor
Ok. I have a JDM H22 in my 99 prelude right now, but with all of the OBD2 components and sensors hooked up, keeping it OBD2 instead of swapping everything over to OBD1. Before i swapped the motor I had a misfire on cylinder 1. Found out the in had a cracked sleeve and some other stuff. But after the new motor, I still get an occasional misfire, and studder at lower rpms. So im thinking that i have a bad pickup in the distributor. Normally you can feel the magnetic resistance when you turn the rotor in it, but on mine it just free spins basically. Thats besides the point.
I know the crank angle sensor and tdc are ran off the oil pump on the OBD2, and from the distributor on the OBD1. Ive read where people are swapping over to OBD1 completely and having to relocate the wires from the tdc and crank sensor at the timing cover, all the way over to the distributor so the sensors in the distributor will be functioning. Does this HAVE to be done, or can the existing sensors ran off the oil pump still be used? Also if this HAS to be done, what is the easiest way to do it? Or any links would be helpful as well. Thanks in advance!

Re: OBD2 H22 - Need help with wiring OBDI Distributor (Mudlocked)
ttt...
Does anyone know?
Since im staying with the OBD2 ECU, can i leave the sensors plugged in at the oil pump, or do i HAVE to move the wires to the distributor and use the sensors from it?
