I would just use that money and rebuild my motor, there's some packages that range from 800 to 1300 on upgraded internals. Biggest thing about going to OBD1 is you'll have to change and add plugs on your engine harness to fit your obd1. Don't quote me on this but I think you also have to switch out ECU's...

Your car is obd2, keep the obd2 specific parts and just use an obd1 chipped ecu with jumper harness? What are you actually trying to do by converting engine components to obd1?

I was just looking for engines online and found one and was just wondering, , im in santa fe nm,I'm just gonna pull mine out this sat at r shop and send it out Monday, to alb nm, to get machined should I go with a bigger piston since I'm taking it all apart while I have the money... u no like a 81.5mm 82.mm... do you no about the head could I run a different cam and gears while it's off and everything wrks fine dnt mess with anything else like throttle body, too instead of all stock maybe throw a header on, drive it daily...
