O2 sensor extension help
hey all i have DC sports ceramic coated headers on my 91 civic si and the o2 sensor is mounted lower on it than the stock location. well to make a long storey short. the o2 sensor had a extension on it that looked like it was bought at a store and it got fried shorting out my sensor. i got a new sensor but i can't find the extension for the life of me. what should i do? does the 92-95 ex o2 sensor work? i think that one has a longer wire. i was thinking about just spliceing a new wire in but i kinda want to stay away from that.

Re: O2 sensor extension help (Nismo240sx1)
Just make sure you made a good connection when splicing the wires. I have heard that the O2 sensor sends out a small voltage range and that can be skewed when not making a good connection on a wire splice.
FYI, I would never tap off the O2 wire...your better off getting a second O2 sensor for say, a A/F guage.
