nitrous with high compression?
I'm probably going to do a mild N/A setup with raised compression (JDM b16 or CTR pistons, so 11.6:1 or 12:1) and CTR cams, with Hondata tuning. Could I run a small wet shot (<50) with this setup or would I have to use forged pistons with this kind of compression? What about the overlap? Too much? Any info is appreciated.
This is in a b18c1 btw.

Re: nitrous with high compression? (TREVER)
should be no problem with enough fuel and the proper ignition timing. just get it tuned. the CTR pistons are nice but may not hold up for a long time with a high C/R and N2O. then again with tuning the motor may last a long time.
N2O works well with higher C/R's. the fuel delivery and ignition tuning is important. if you don't have a higher flowing fuel pump already then i suggest getting one as well as a stronger ignition system for increased spark.
BTW i'm currently running 125 shot with 11:1 C/R on 93 octane fuel and no real tuning to date. thought the motor is fully built, a B18C.
