Nissan 5 wire O2 sesor, wideband or not?
I read that the 5 wire o2 sensor for some VW are wideband sensors and cheaper than purchasing the Bosch wideband sensor.
Just got a Nissan Sentra (newer model) 5 wire O2 sensor. Compared the the Bosch O2 that comes with the Innovate LM-1 units, all the wire colors match.
Does anyone know if the newer Nissan 5 wire O2 is a wideband or not.
Burnt out my Bosch so going to try and see it the Nissan one works.

Re: Nissan 5 wire O2 sesor, wideband or not? (DEMNTD1)
Well I soldered it on the the original Bosch wideband and seems to be reading properly. Pretty much the same A/F readings during idle and part throttle. Will try WOT and see how it reads compared to previous runs.
I can get the Nissan 5 wire O2 sensors for $45, so if it works properly than cheaper than Bosch 5 wire O2.

Pretty much all 5-wire sensors are widebands. I know the old EG VX had a 5-wire NTK sensor--you can still get those but they are like $350 for just the sensor!!!
