Jdm b18b w/ Si tranny redline at 6500k?
Sup guys, I just picked up a 98 gsr but it's got a jdm b18b with an Si tranny. I noticed it won't go over 6500k. Now I haven't checked what ECU it's running yet but I will do that asap but what would be the proper ECU to run with a jdm b18b? I'll update as soon as I get a chance to look at the ECU. Thanks!!

Re: Jdm b18b w/ Si tranny redline at 6500k?
its because you are running a vtec ecu on a non vtec engine
there is no need for a GSR to go past 6500 out of vtec so go get an LS ecu and try again
oh and there is no difference between the usdm b18b and jdm b18b, so please stop calling it a "JDM LS" and just call it an LS or a b18b
